GARLAND ISD
Dear Mr. Walker and Walgreen’s,
Feb. 10, 2002
I would like to inform you of the progress of one of our students in the Youth Achievement program at Sam Houston Middle School. His name is "Our Student"(name protection) "OS" and he is currently 4TH grade student. He has been in the program for 2 years now.
When he first started coming to the program, he had no real hope of succeeding in life. He actually wanted to become a wrestler. After being in the program and with the help of his mentor, he has now succeeded in becoming an “A” — “B” student instead of a “C” student and wants to become an architect.
I am also very pleased to let you know that he has currently competed in the ACPEN competition and received 4 gold medals and I silver medal! Needless to say, I am excited for the progress of this young man. Thank you for all of your support and hard work!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Roberta Crisp
